Privacy Statement

As an early-stage startup, Zoef.app B.V. follows a simple and straightforward privacy statement:

1. We only request personal information that is necessary for the proper functioning of the app, and we ask for it only when we actually need it. For instance, we request your name, email, bank account, and OV-chip card number when you submit a claim.
2. When using the GPS tracking feature, your GPS coordinates remain on your phone and are not shared. Your GPS data is translated into the nearest stations and not stored.
3. Our approach is to send your (personal) data to our servers only when they are required. For example, when creating a claim, we send your data only at the end when you actually submit the claim.
4. We only share your (personal) data with parties that require it to execute the app’s functionalities. For instance, when submitting a claim, we need to send your data to the relevant transport companies or travel organizations.
5. To improve the app continuously, we anonymously send user statistics to Google Analytics. This includes data like which buttons were pressed and how often certain screens were opened. However, personal information such as your email, name, or IBAN is never shared with such parties.
